THE 4 MULTIPLICATION PROPERTIES
There are four multiplication properties, the first property is the zero property. The zero property means that any number multiplied by zero equals zero. Another property is the idenity property. This property tells me any number multiplied by zero equals itself. The next property is the communitive property. The communitive property changes the orders of the factors but doesn’t change the product. The last property is the associative property, which means if the grouping of the numbers are changed, the product doesn’t change.
Comic Book Summary
Tut, Tut by Jon Scieszka
First, in the book Tut, Tut Sam, Joe, and Fred were working on their finishing touches for their book report. Anna opens the book and the children magically landed somewhere. Next, the narrator talks about how the book gets them in trouble and how their uncle gave the book to them. Then the children found out that they had landed where King Tut’s tomb is located.
After that they realized that Anna was missing and then there was a big crashing sound. Next, there was an angry yell and Fred, Sam, and Joe saw three strange priests. One was Great Hatsnat. Hatsnat told the children they could get some treasure but he tricked them and made them look like robbers.
Strange men came running. Then the three boys were about to get their hands chopped off when they met King Thutmose. He was about their age. Everyone got on one of the three boats, including Hatsnat, and they sailed across the Nile. While they were sailing Sam fell overboard. Fred kicked off the top of a coffin and surfed the Nile to save Sam. Then the kids docked in Luxor.
The boys got dressed for the event. During the event there were dancers and Anna was one of them. Next, Hatsnat told Hapthutsut that Sam, Joe, and Fred were in the temple and they had some of the treasure on. Hatsnat and the children had a bet. Whoever wins tells their side of the truth. After the kids won Anna was missing. Then there was a search all over the temple.
The last place they looked was the beautiful house and they looked all over. The beautiful house is a place were royal bodies are prepared for the after life. Sam leaned against a wall and that part of the wall flew back revealing a small mmm….mummy. Then the kids realized that the mummy is Anna. All of a sudden there was Hatsnat and his four priests.
Hatsnat and his priests wrapped them up like mummies. Anna’s cat opened up a book and magic green smoke appeared. Sam, Joe, Anna, and Cleo got home. Sam gave Anna the money that he owed her for the bet in the beginning of the story.
My Favorite Book Summary
In the first chapter Toby and Cal where in line to see the fattest boy in the world named Zackary Beaver. A girl named Scarlett asked Toby and Cal if they could watch her little sister. In chapter two Cal talks about his brother Veatnam, he said that he sent Cal letters all of the time, but he hardly sent him any back. Then the boys where face to face with Zackary Beaver. In chapter 3 the book talks about how the population of Antler County has gotten smaller, and buisnesses have disappeared from Antler. In chapter 4 Cal`s sister got her drivers licence. In chapter 5 the boys went to the city library to look in the world book of records, and Zackary was not in the book. In chaper 6 the boys were on the roof of the Bowl-A-Rama hiding from Zackary Beaver. In chapter 7 the boys leave a sack of groceries on Zackary’s steps. In chapter 8 Toby and his father find out that Toby’s mother did not win the singing tournament . In chapter 9 Toby cleans up Mrs. Myritas yard. In chapter 10 Toby goes to Scarlett`s house and sits on the rocking bench with her. In chapter 11 Toby gives Zackary the cake that Mrs. Myrita gave Toby to give to Zackary. Toby`s mother sent Toby a letter about how the contest was postponed and how she realy misses him. In chapter 12 the book talks about the worms, and Toby’s dad asked him if he had read the letter. Toby felt very nervous. In chapter 13 Toby and Cal play darts and they try to make a ramp for Zackary to get in the back of Toby`s dads truck. Eventually, the boys get Zackary in the back of the truck. In chapter 14 the boys are on the roof of the Bowl -A-Rama again. The boys go to Miss Myrita’s house and sit in the gazebo. In chapter 15 Rev. Newton stops by Toby’s house and unfortunately Cal`s brother was killed in Vietnam. In chapter 16, because Wayne died, the whole town was very quiet and no one left their houses. In chapter 17 it was the day after the funeral and Toby’s dad never said a word to Toby because Toby did not go to the funeral. Also in chapter 17, Zackary`s uncle goes to jail because of armed robbery. In chapter 18 Toby starts working for Ferris at the Bowl-A-Rama. Ferris gives Zackary a plate to eat. When Toby gets to his house, he meets Scarlett and her little sister. In chapter 19 Toby and his father go fishing at Lake Kiezer and Toby and his father have a nice long talk and enjoy themselves. In chapter 20 Toby does the chores at Miss. Myrita May`s house and Toby found out that the judge was his grandfather. Toby and his grandfather were bonding together. In chapter 21 Kate, Cal, and Toby go to Zackary`s trailer to put him in the back of the pick up truck to take him to his Baptism, but the truck could not hold Zackary. They got Willie Wolmack’s golf cart and that worked. Ferris preformed the Baptism. When every one gets back to the trailer they find out that Paulie Rankin was in France. In the last chapter, Billy, Cal`s brother, was in the front seat of Wayne`s Mustang in the garage. Then the boys where on the roof of the Bowl-A-Rama and Cal opened his last letter from his brother Wayne before he died. The boys got there pictures taken with Zackary to remember all of the fun they had in the summer of 1971. The boys enjoyed themselves at the Bowl-A-Rama and the story ended.
Stone Fox Summary
In the beginning of the story Grandfather would not get out of bed. Little Willy thought he was playing a trick on him but he was not. The story talked about the kind of tricks that grandfather would play. Little Willy and his dog Searchlight went to Doc. Smith`s house, and Doc. Smith visited grandfather to see what was wrong with him. After that little Willy found out there was nothing wrong with grandfather and grandfather was giving up on life. Little Willy said that he was going to run the farm and take care of grandfather. Doc Smith and Little Willy were having a disagreement about whether grandfather should go to a nursing home while Little Willy lived with Doc Smith. Little Willey said no because he wanted to stay home and take care of the farm and grandfather.
A couple of weeks went by and grandfather still hasn’t said a word yet. Little Willy and grandfather made up hand signals, palm down meant no and palm up meant yes. Little Willy and Searchlight plowed the potatoes because grandfather was sick and grandfather couldn’t do it himself. Wwinter time came and it started snowing. When it snows in Wyoming everything is covered. Now little Willy was on his own. He has to cook, clean, go to school, and take care of his grandfather at the same time.
One day after school Little Willy didnt` notice the strange horse on his porch, so when he opend the front door there was a man holding a small derringer in his hand aiming at Searchlight !!! The man was nameed Clifford Snyder. The man said that he was here for offical buisness and his grandfathr owed him ten years of taxs that equaled $ 500.00!!!! If grandfather did not pay them he would loose the farm.
Little Willy went to Lester`s general store and saw an advertisement about the national dog sled race. It cost $50.00 to enter the race, so he went to the bank to get the money out of his collage fund so he could enter the race to win $500.00. That Friday night grandfather ran out of medicine so Little Willy went to Lester`s General Store to get the medicine for grandfather. On his way home he heard dogs barking so he went into the deserted barn were the barking came from. Since Llittle Willy liked dogs so much he began to pet the dogs. A few secconds later a fist went right across his face. The hand was Stone Fox`s fist. Right away Little Willy told Stone Fox that he was going to beat him then he went home and went to sleep.
The next day was the day of the race and Little Willy woke up early with one eye closed tight. Little Willy hitched up Searchlight and they arrived at the starting line on Main Street. The race began and Searchlight took of with such force. In the beginning of the race Little Willy started out with a good lead and every one was sure he was going to win, but Stone Fox was gaining. Soon he was right behind Little Willy. As soon as you know it, Stone Fox and Little Willy were back on Main Street . The two were 100 feet from the finish line and Searchlight died instantly of a heart attack. Stone Fox stopped his sled and stopped every one from moving across the finish by saying WHO EVER CROSSES I SHOOT !!! Little Willy walked Searchlight across the finish line and Little Willy won. The farm was saved.

Comments(0) | Tagged Writing One day after school I did my homework and afterwards I turned on the T.V. Suddenly a strange looking T.V. remote popped out the T.V. The hand holding the remote hit the “in” button. In a blink of an eye something magical happend, the hand popped out of the T.V. and pulled me in. The hand happened to be Mario Lopez`s hand. Mario Lopez is the host of America`s Best Dance Crew. When I landed there we were backstage where all of the crews got ready. All of a sudden my dream came true. It was time for them to call out the names of the groups . They called B5 the dance crew my friends and I created two years ago. We performed, then we met the staff. When it was time to go, it was almost dinner time, and time for mom and dad to get home. They would never know until it was time to go.
